The term "Street Latin" has been established in recent years for dances such as Salsa, Salsa Rueda de Casino, Bachata, Merengue, Kizomba etc.
Unlike other Latin dances, these dances, despite their constant evolution, are considered to maintain the authenticity of Latin culture to a greater extent.
With strong the element of improvisation, the very close or in cases zero distance between the dancers’ bodies, the fun and eroticism that exude, Street Latin dances have won, almost exclusively, the hearts of many people who wanted to get involved with the Latin dance world.

Each of Street Latin dances may be danced in different styles. In Tiempo Loco, among others, we teach Salsa in a mix of Cuban and L.A. style (Salsa on One), while we have a soft spot for Salsa Rueda de Casino, a dance where many couples simultaneously dance in a circle the same Salsa figures, changing partners!
